Sagrada Familia elopement

Most likely when you think of Barcelona the first symbol that comes to your mind is the Sagrada Familia. So having said that there is no more iconic place that Lorena and Carlos could have chosen in the whole city, a super famous monument with a peculiar architecture.
For us, having been able to document the intimate wedding at the Sagrada Familia for them was wonderful.

Sagrada Familia – the story

We want to tell you something more about this symbol of Barcelona. The Basilica of the Sagrada Familia is a large unfinished minor basilica in the Eixample district of Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. Designed by the Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí (1852–1926), his work on the building is part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site.On 7 November 2010, Pope Benedict XVI consecrated the church and proclaimed it a minor basilica.

Eloping at Barcelona – Sagrada Familia

As we said previously, the cathedral of Barcelona is not the Sagrada Familia.
The gothic style cathedral is located in the center, where for us it was the location of Viola and Chris’s elopement.

Lorena and Carlos’ dream has always been that of a simple symbolic ceremony in their intimacy in the place that has a special meaning for them. So they came to the choice of exchanging their love vows in the garden in front of the Sagrada Familia.
it was super thrilling to see their dream come true.
We always say that for your wedding you have to do what you really want and it makes you feel good and that was their deed, an elopment under the Sagrada Familia.
