Getting ready at Riad in Medina Marrakech

Kirstin and Shea’s story begins in the United States where they met 7 years ago. Through mutual friends, two boys from San Diego met and discovered that they had many things in common, including a love of travel.
They immediately began to travel a lot, even very far from home, visiting a lot especially Europe, Central America and North Africa.

After so much touring and getting to know different cultures, they fell in love with a colorful and unique city in the world, Marrakech.

In their heads for a couple of months there was the idea of ​​a change of scenery and go to live far, far away so they took the ball. For the first time they were in Marrakech to understand how they could move and as soon as they realized that they were madly in love with it it became their home.

In 2018 they opened their Riad. For those who do not know what a Riad is, it refers to a particular type of home. The name derives from the Arabic plural of the equivalent term of the Italian garden. In fact, this type of construction revolves around an internal courtyard, characterized by a well-kept garden.

Marrakech is full of Riads some more luxurious and large away from the center and others beautifully maintained but smaller in the medina area.

So their elopement in Marrakech began with their preparations and their dressing in what has now become their home and their Riad where they welcome tourists from all over the world.
