Foreigners can get married in Italy, however, there are two  documents you will need in order for your marriage to be legally binding. 

The easiest choise is to have a simbolic, beautiful and emotional ceremony.

There are so many amazing places you can elope in Italy.

We want to mention some places you can elope in Italy to give you an idea of what your wedding day can look like but remember, this list is only a fraction of the places where you can plan your wedding. Just to let you know Italy has 20 regions, subdivided into 93 provinces, and further subdivided into 8,000 cities, towns, or villages. That’s a whole lot of options!

Florence doesn’t need much of an introduction, literally an open-air museum, it is the city with the highest number of architectural outstanding sites in the whole world. Surrounded by hills with wonderful typical Tuscan little towns, in Florence and in its surrounding province you will experience a true Italian time on your elopement.

Florence it’s just perfect and small enought to walk everywhere and to have an incredible experience.

Rome is Rome! IT is the perfect place to get married if you’re looking for romance in the city. The ‘Eternal City’ is a charming one that boasts history, art, and unmatched architecture.

If you have never been to Italy you should know that we are in a Mediterranean climate. Our peninsula has 4 seasons and we will tell you the pros and cons of deciding to get married in every season.
Even if subjectively there are no seasons better than others as there are couples who love the heat and spouses who dream of snow we can tell you that indicatively in the climate that you find in Italy in the first room, at the beginning and at the end of summer and at the early autumn is the mildest.
As Italy extends from north to south there are several differences between one area and another, for example at the end of October in Puglia and Sicily there are still very hot days normally in the north this does not happen.

In case you are not a snow lover and even less a crowd of people, the best months to get married in Italy are March, April, May and September and October.

Choose the outfit you love but be smart about it! If you are wanting be out in the nature or in the city center all day wear comfortable shoes! We always suggest to our couples to bring a nice pair of shoes but also to have something to change with and feel more comfortable. what to wear and everything about your outfit for your Italy elopement is you decision.  You can wear a classic wedding dress, something more editorial or something super casual. It is you elopement day so it is your rules!. Wear everything you feel is your self!

Just check the season in which in your are going to elope to Italy because summers are really hot and winters pretty cold. If you come in winter to elope in Italy bring a coat with you, it will be useful.
