Eloping to Italy

2020 was a special year as you know and being the  elopement photographer of this important moment for Valentina and Antonello was really exciting.

So you know that we are the wedding photographer in Stupinigi hunting palace

Valentina and Antonello contacted us a few months before their original wedding date which was July 12th. Despite the chosen date and the preparations made, their elopement in italy could not take place on that date. This great dream was postponed to October of the same year and just a few days earlier, exactly 5 days earlier, what was really feared happened.

In fact, on the Tuesday before their wedding, a new decree came out that allowed them to celebrate a wedding with up to 30 guests.

Best place to elope in Italy

Despite the decrees and any problems Valentina and Antonello have understood that their love is stronger than everything and they got married the day they wanted.

October 17th was a particularly beautiful and warm anomalous day. We went to the groom’s house where Antonello was already very ready and I would say also a little rightly agitated. The bride and groom’s preparations are those moments that arrive before Yes where everyone is a little excited and you can capture special moments. So it was, Antonello read a letter that Valentina wrote to him and he collapsed in a valley of tears of joy and if I have to tell you all we too are excited.

At 11:30 the ceremony took place respecting all the rules of spacing and the use of masks (masks that the spouses have customized for the guests). In these circumstances it was the only way to celebrate the wedding safely.

To get back to the point, the ceremony was wonderful thanks also to the priest who knows the two boys very well and has personalized the rite a lot.

intimate ceremony for your italian elopement

In order to make Valentina and Antonello’s day unique despite the restrictions, exactly two days before their wedding we proposed to them to go and do the photo shoot in the hunting lodge of Stupinigi.

We believe that no matter how many restrictions there may be, your wedding day must be unforgettable. Valentina and Antonello were enthusiastic about it, if you don’t know the palace I suggest you visit it because it really leaves you speechless. Not only did we create a wonderful wedding photo shoot in the setting of Stupinigi but once we arrived in the main hall we thought of a little surprise.

First dance at Stupinigi Hunting Lodge

On your wedding day you must enjoy it and get excited because it is unique and unrepeatable. When we got to the center of the hall we asked him to hug each other and we played the song of what would be their first Robbie Williams ‘Angel’ dance. At that moment there was no one around for them and we must admit that we too were excited.

Wedding Reception at Tenunta Sant’Anna.

Even if the wedding had to be celebrated with the presence of up to 30 people due to a health emergency, the reception was made. Undoubtedly Tenuta Sant’Anna decorated their smaller room with a wonderful imperial table that welcomed all the guests. We leave you here a selection of the photos taken for the wedding of Valentina and Antonello.
