Castello di San Sebastiano da Po wedding
Photographing a wedding at the castle of San Sebastiano da Po had always been in my wishes. It is a wonderful location a stone’s throw from Turin which is spread over a large area and where there are ancient rooms, internal courtyards and stupendous greenhouses.
In my personal opinion, the Castello di San Sebastiano da Po is one of the most beautiful locations in the area.
The Couple love story around the world
About 3 years earlier the couple contacted me knowing that they would like to have a wedding at the castle of San Sebastiano da Po. At that moment Marie Claire and Marco were still living in Singapore but would soon move to Italy.
You should know that Marie Claire and Marco met about 10 years ago in London and after falling in love they continued their story by moving and often changing cities.
In 2020 their wedding should have taken place in Piedmont but we all know how things went and so we moved directly to 2022. 2021 was not taken into consideration because having lived in many countries their guests would have had to travel from Asia , Africa and America and it was not feasible.
Wedding getting ready at Castello di San Sebastiano da Po
After three years of waiting the wedding day at the Castello of San Sebastiano da Po for Marie Claire and Marco had finally arrived. Both got ready in the Castle but in two well separated areas.
Marco got ready in a villa still part of the castle with the presence of his childhood friends and his brother. At the same time, Marie Claire had her hair and make-up done in the main wing of the castle decorated with marvelous frescoes.
Symbolic ceremony at the castle of San Sebastiano da Po
At 4 in the afternoon the symbolic ceremony took place in the internal courtyard of the Castle. The ceremony was celebrated by 6 friends and groomsmen, it was a very beautiful, touching and fun ceremony.
Each of them told an anecdote of their acquaintance with the spouses and it was super personalized.
Personally I love symbolic ceremonies because I find them much more exciting and customizable.
Following the symbolic ceremony, the party took place in the other areas of the castle. Initially there was an aperitif for all the guests where the personalized wine created for the bride and groom was also served. After sunset, everything moved to the area between the greenhouse and the small temple where a wonderful, very long imperial table had been set up.
We leave you here a selection of the images of the Castello di san Sebastiano da Po Wedding.
