Sorrento: first part of the elopement in Amalfi Coast

Chiara and Jacopo’s big day began in the wonderful Sorrento. What is one of the best known foods in Italy and, more specifically, in this area?
Pizza! Exactly this is the best way to start your elopement on the Amalfi coast.
After having eaten two margherite pizzas and finished with limoncello and the typical caffe Chiara and Jacopo were ready for their adventure and first walk through the typical streets of Sorrento.

If you wonder why they chose the Amalfi coast for their elopement, the answer is simple.

Chiara and Jacopo live in Washington but are of Italian origins and right here on the Amalfi coast, precisely on the island of Capri 2 years ago Jacopo asked Chiara for her hand.
So for them this is a very special place and when they decided to celebrate their love with an elopement there could not be a better place than a tour of the whole coast touching Sorrento, Positano and Amalfi.

Every time I do a photo shoot in Amalfi Coast I get excited as if it were the first time and with our couples we take them to discover hidden points of the different towns that would be difficult to find as tourists.

Adventure elopement in Positano

The whole coast is marvelous for the landscapes it can offer, its alleys, its colors, its food and much more. After Sorrento we headed towards Positano, stopping at one of the most beautiful viewpoints.
Going down to the heart of Positano and stopping to admire every corner every flower, truly a wonderful place for their elopement.
A little tip if you want to do your elopement in Positano is to bring comfortable shoes because there are areas that are not reachable by car and you walk a lot.
We were approaching the marvelous beach of Positano and Chiara and Jacopo decided to enjoy a very fresh Spritz.

Surely the beach of Positano is one of the best known postcards not only in the area but in all of Italy. We could only end such a beautiful day with a wonderful sunset and swim in the sea with the view of all of Positano coming on slowly.
